Cyber-Ark Demonstrates How to Control and Monitor Privileged Access to Hypervisors and Virtualized Environments at VMworld 2011

Hosted by VMware, VMworld 2011 is the leading virtualization and cloud infrastructure event of the year. Cyber-Ark is exhibiting at the event (booth #554) and discussing benefits of its Privileged Session Manager® for Virtualization, which enables continuous monitoring for protection and compliance within sensitive virtual environments.
What: Cyber-Ark's Privileged Session Management Suite isolates, controls and records all privileged administrator sessions. One of the Suite's featured products is Privileged Session Manager for Virtualization, which delivers the benefits of full visibility and control in virtual environments where the hypervisor privileged accounts allow access to multiple servers. As a result of that access, malicious attacks on the hypervisor, whether from the inside or externally, represent exponential risk for the organization. In a multi-tenant, cloud environment managing and monitoring privileged access to the hypervisor becomes critical since multiple customer organizations or lines of business could be at risk.
Privileged Session Manager for Virtualization is a zero footprint solution that ensures that every hypervisor connection is managed, access controlled and a full video recording of what was done in those privileged sessions is provided. Capabilities being demonstrated at VMworld 2011 include monitoring and controlling access to VMware administrator tools including vCenter, ESX/ESXi hosts and Guest systems; Privileged Single Sign-On across the virtual environment; enabling strong authentication for hypervisor access and management; and full administrative session recording with DVR style playback.
