CYBER-ARK UNVEILS VAULT CONNECTORS FOR THE INTER-BUSINESS VAULT®

Creates an Instant WAN (Wide Area Network) for Sharing Information Over the Internet without Opening the Enterprise's Network or Altering the User Experience

Dedham, Mass.,-May 3, 2004 - Cyber-Ark® Software Inc., the leader in Vaulting Technology™, for instant, secure enterprise connections, today unveiled the Vault Connectors for the Inter-Business Vault™ to dramatically simplify the creation of secure, high-performance networks that connect enterprises to business partners over the Internet.

The Inter-Business Vault delivers an Instant WAN for connecting enterprises' partners, customers and sub-contractors, enabling them to share and exchange information as if they have deployed a traditional WAN, but without actually doing so. The Vault Connector software resides safely within a partners' firewall delivering high-performance connectivity to information stored in the Inter-Business Vault, which is a highly secured repository protected by multiple unified layers of security. Using Vault Connectors, sensitive information is then available through all the standard interfaces found in today's enterprise organizations, including file systems (CIFS), mail systems (SMTP) and file transfer protocols (FTP). This enables near-instant integration with existing information systems, allowing users to access information from the same network drives and applications used daily-without additional training or any disruption in business process. This also eliminates the need to use special proprietary file transfer, file sharing and email security solutions. In addition, caching, end-to-end compression and distributed encryption maximize bandwidth and deliver high-performance connectivity, even for small partners with low-speed connections.
