RSA SECURITY AND CYBER-ARK TO LEAD TECHNET'S SECURITY ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN COMMITTEE

Committee to Design Guidelines and Tools for Corporate Executives to Assess Their Information Security Capabilities and Readiness

DEDHAM, Mass. & BEDFORD, Mass. - July 14, 2003 - Cyber-Ark® Software Inc., the information security software company that invented and markets Vaulting Technology™, and RSA Security Inc. (NASDAQ: RSAS), the most trusted name in e-security®, announced that they have been appointed to co-chair TechNet's Security Architecture and Design Committee. This committee is tasked with creating a self-evaluation tool that will assist U.S. companies in strengthening the overall effectiveness of their enterprises' information security capabilities. The establishment of these guidelines is an important element of the overall charter of the TechNet CEO Cyber Security Task Force.

TechNet is a national, bipartisan network of CEOs and senior executives that promotes the growth of technology industries and the economy by building long-term relationships between technology leaders and policymakers and by advocating a targeted policy agenda. The executive network includes more than 200 chief executive officers, senior executives, presidents and senior partners in the fields of information technology, biotechnology, venture capital, investment banking and law.

The Task Force includes executives from Courion, Cranite, Cyber-Ark Software, Guardent, HP, Nominum, Netegrity, Palm, PGP, Qualys, RSA Security, Symantec, Verisign, TippingPoint, Tumbleweed, and Wind River Systems, among others.

"Cyber-Ark is honored to help lead the critical work being done by TechNet's Security Architecture and Design Committee," said Udi Mokady, COO of Cyber-Ark. "This initiative complements our overall strategy of helping enterprise customers securely share and store sensitive information, both internally and across the Internet with their customers, partners and remote offices. One of the most important by-products of this effort will be to provide a clear, measurable barometer to corporations to aid them in identifying security risk areas and gaps in their own enterprise networks."

"The technology currently exists to secure these systems properly, and businesses must take the initiative and devote adequate time and resources to survivability planning and cyber security," said Art Coviello, President and CEO of RSA Security and Co-Chairman of TechNet New England. "I applaud TechNet's establishment of the Security Architecture and Design Committee to draw attention to this critical need. As a leader in information security, RSA Security is prepared to contribute to TechNet's effort to assist companies in protecting their sensitive data."
