About the Expert
Alon Cohen has been the chairman and CEO of Cyber-Ark since its foundation in 1999, having invented the company's patented Vaulting Technology. Cohen built the company's worldwide sales and marketing strategy, led the company during its fund raising processes - raising a total of $20M. He has led the research and development activities, and made the company the world's market leader in Vaulting Technology - acquiring, in a very short time, tens of global enterprise customers in the US, Europe and Asia.
Prior to Cyber-Ark, Alon was the founder and CEO of Quantum Leap Technologies, a technology consulting firm working for leading companies, such as IBM and Amdocs, in development, training and consulting. He ran Quantum Leap Technologies for six years.
Cohen was also the head of the System and Security Department for the Israeli Military, responsible for running complex enterprises. He has also served as a senior advisor to leading security companies, such as Algorithmic Research (a Cylink company) and Memco (now Computer Associates), as well as to large Israeli banks, government agencies and industrial organizations. Cohen holds a BS in computer science, magna cum laude.
