CYBER-ARK'S PRIVATEARK NETWORK VAULT AWARDED U.S PATENT
Patent Covers Product Concept, Features And Special Technologies
DEDHAM, MA - May 6, 2002 -- Cyber-Ark® Software, Ltd., an award-winning provider of information security solutions, announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. patent number 6,356,941 B1 covering the concept, features and special technologies of Cyber-Ark's Network Vault®. Additional patents for PrivateArk are pending in Canada, the European Union and in other countries worldwide.
The patent recognizes the breakthrough and the unique nature of the Vaulting Technology for enabling secured data storage and data sharing in a network environment. Rather than trying to protect the entire enterprise, Cyber-Ark provides a Safe Haven, highly secured regardless of overall network security, where information can be stored and shared. Cyber-Ark's Patented Vaulting Technology substantially decreases costs, improves security, and enhances the performance associated with sharing information internally, with business partners and with remote offices.
Based on its Vaulting Technology, Cyber-Ark offers two products. PrivateArk Inter-Business Vault™ is an infrastructure for inter-business information sharing. It enables the Vaulting of File Servers, Mail Servers and Web Servers for secured, high-performance and cost-effective inter-business connectivity. PrivateArk Network Vault® is a Safe Haven over the enterprise network, in which the crown jewels of the enterprise can be secured regardless of the overall network security.
